Willie Henry Richardson, Jr. was born in Brooksville, FL on April 28, 1955 to the late Willie Henry Richardson, Sr. and Joyce Elizabeth Timmons Richardson.
After graduating from Hernando High School in 1973, Willie joined the United States Armed Forces, division Army. He received a National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Medal and an Expert Qualification Badge for M-16 during his tenure.
Willie worked for the United States Postal Service in Georgia upon the completion of his military duties. He loved his family and friends, and had a heart of gold. He never met a stranger. Willie was loved by those that he encountered because of his free spirit and willing to help others out. He will be truly missed by those that knew and loved him.
Willie leaves to cherish his memories, two devoted sons, Willie Henry Richardson III and wife Sonia of Houston, TX and Darius K. Richardson of Brooksville, FL; one loving daughter, Berethia V. Richardson Bivens of Atlanta, GA; two loving and devoted sisters, Sheila A. Richardson Lawson and husband Earl and Stephanie D. Richardson all of Brooksville, FL; two aunts, Catherine Timmons Hudson and husband Richard of Brooksville, FL and Arstella Timmons of Tampa, FL; one uncle, Eugene Timmons, Sr. and wife Inez of Sarasota, FL; four grandchildren, Jaylen Patterson and Artise Bivens of Atlanta, GA, Jasleen Richardson and Jizelle Richardson of Houston, TX; a devoted sister/niece Delecia F. Burnett of Tampa, FL; loving niece, Janeezia J. Wallace of Brooksville, FL; one devoted nephew, Trey Anthony Dixon of Brooksville, FL; one special sister/cousin, Rosa Timmons Carter and Walter of Brooksville, FL; two devoted friends, Vivian Thompson and Leola Brown of Tampa, FL; a loving friend who we all called "Pops", Lorenzo Hamilton and a host of cousins and sorrowing friends.
