Samuel L. Gaynor was born in Brooksville, FL to Mr. Samuel Darby and the late Rev. Gwendolyn Nelson. On January 30, 2017 God saw fit to call him home.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rev. Gwendolyn Nelson; grandmother, Lelia Mae Williams; brother, Tony Gaynor.
Samuel is survived by his wife, Tyra Gaynor; 3 sons, Samuel Gaynor, Jr. , Chris Wicks and Symuel Gaynor; 2 daughters, Jasmine Gaynor and Zakira Gaynor; 3 brothers, Timothy Gaynor, Alfred McCoy and James Gaynor; 4 sisters, Nadine McCoy, Colleen Nelson, Shirel Nelson and Schandell Hill (Akindeji); a devoted step-father, Raymond Nelson; a host of loving nephews, nieces and friends.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
