Helen Fribley Warren
Helen Fribley Warren, 76 was born in Brooksville, Florida on February 14, 1939, to Edmond Fribley and Christine Williams Fribley, both preceded her in death.Â
Helen attended Moton High School, where she participated on the girls basketball squad. She graduated from Moton High School in 1957; Remaining a resident of her birth place Brooksville, Florida. In 1960 she married her lifetime partner and husband of 55 years, Eddie Lee Warren, Sr., a native of Uniontown, Alabama.Â
Helen was a dedicated employee of the Hernando County School System for 30 years and the Division of Forestry where she served simultaneously as head cook in both locations.Â
She was a member at First Baptist Church of Shady Rest where she served on the Usher Board, the Hostess Committee and also a member of an elite organization known as the Lilly Whites.Â
She enjoyed fishing and bringing a smile and joy to those who were fortunate enough to enjoy her love for cooking. Most of all she was a loyal and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend whom was respected and loved by all.Â
On the morning of December 27, 2015, our Heavenly Father called her home to rest.Â
Helen is survived by her husband Eddie Lee Warren, Sr. of Brooksville, FL;Â five children, Sonja V. Warren, Eddie Lee Warren, Jr., Bruce E. Warren all of Brooksville, FL, Doricina L. Hendricks and Anderia K. Henry (Anthony) of Fayetteville, NC; two sisters, Ernestine Stephens of Brooksville, FL and Christine Woods of Ohio; two brothers, Bobby Clark of Dunnellon, FL and Bruce Woods of Brooksville, FL; sisters-in-law Edna Fribley of Brooksville, FL, Hattie M. Washington of New Jersey, Matilida Holland (Bobby), Elder Bertha Reese (Jesse), Venda Rae Marcus and Joyce N. Waddy; brothers-in-law, James Warren, Howard Warren and Charles Hart; honorary family member, Rev. Willie Hopkins and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and close friends.Â
