Leroy Greene, Jr. was born July 17, 1946 in Brooksville, FL to the late Mary Etta Lewis and Leroy Greene, Sr. He attended Moton High in Hernando County.Â
Leroy departed this life, December 16, 2012 in Tampa, FL.Â
Leroy was raised in a loving atmosphere. He was a barber for ten years, dedicated husband, a wonderful father, and a loving brother. He worked various jobs throughout New York and Central Florida. Leroy was a person who loved to barbeque, fish and hunt. He showed his love and gratitude to all by providing food and shelter to those who were in need.Â
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Etta Lewis and Leroy Greene, Sr.; brother, Ozzie Lee Frazier; brother-in-law, Curtis Langley, Jr.; sisters, Linda Joyce Strong and Tangela Bailey; uncle, Hal Mobley, Sr. and two best friends, Curtis Langley, Sr. and Nelson Butler.Â
Leroy leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Brenda L. Greene of twenty-five years; seven daughters, Ellamae Robinson (David) of Brooksville, FL, Pawnee Patrick (Pierre) of Wyandanch, NY, Alesia Shelton (John) of Wyandanch, NY, Lisa Rayford of Spring Hill, FL, Renee Byrd of South Carolina, Keiona Greene of Atlanta, GA and Shalbetshla Greene of Wyandanch, NY; four sons, Leroy Greene III (Laverne), Richard Fraizer, Rockkhem Greene (friend, Jessica) of Brooksville, FL and Jarrah Greene (friend, Shampange) of Crystal River, FL; two special Goddaughters, Tori Tomlin and Millan’ii Townsend, both of Brooksville, FL; fifteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; stepfather, Ashley M. Lewis (Mary) of Miami, FL; a very loving mother-in-law, Betty Langley of Dade City, FL; three sisters Eva Milton of Detroit, MI, Volly Smith of Miami, FL and Perklee Jackson of Brooksville, FL; three brothers, John Mobley (Lilly) of Wildwood, FL, Ned Childress (Antoinette) of St. Port Lucie, FL and Ray Flowers (Shannon) both of St. Port Lucie, FL; two brothers-in-law, Willie Strong of Brooksville, FL and Eugene Langley of Dade City, FL; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
