Hal David Mobley, Jr.
 
Deacon Hal David Mobley, Jr. was born in Brooksville, FL to the late Hal David Mobley, Sr. and Lugenia Finley Mobley on December 2, 1934.
 
Hal attended schools in Hernando County (Moton). Hal met and married the late Annie Ruth Langley and to this union ten children were born. Of those ten, three preceded him in death, Charles Fredrick Mobley, Deborah Denise Mobley and Darrin Mobley, Jr.
 
Hal was a member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church, where he was ordained a Deacon by the late Rev. David C. Stewart, Sr.  Deacon Mobley was also an honorary member at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, were he was faithful on Tuesday nights for bible study. Deacon Mobley worked while it was day. Where ever he went, he took the Lord with him.
 
He will be missed by his two riding companions, Mother Hart and Sis. Birdie Hopkins. Also, he will be greatly missed by both, St. James and Mt. Pleasant.
 
He was a member of IF & AM Masons and Order of Eastern Stars 32° Mason and Shriner.
 
Deacon Mobley leaves to cherish his memories wife, Doris Bush Mobley; five sons, Harold Mobley of Tampa, FL, Michael Mobley (Erica) of Spring Hill, FL, Robin Mobley (Furlishus) of Brooksville, FL, Rodney Mobley, Sr. (Tracy) and Clarence Scrivens Mobley, Sr. a nephew who was like a son; three daughters, Claudia Mobley of Brooksville, FL, Ruthann Pinkney (Edward, Sr.) of Spring Hill, FL and Antoinette Mobley of Spring Hill, FL; three step-daughters, Cassandra Stewart, Suzette Manuel and Alexis Bush; twenty-seven grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren; six sisters-in-law, Warnell Mobley, Sarah Langley, Linda Langley Fribley, Loretta Langley Chambliss, Mazie White and Margaret Smith-Scippie; six brothers-in-law, Willard Langley (JoAnn), Henry Langley, Willie Scott, Thomas Scott (Doris), Sammy Lee Scott (Yaje) and Tim Redman; special great-niece, Shawna Rayford; a host of nieces nephews and sorrowing friends.
